Shapeshifter are a loose and changing collective, working in theatre and associated arts. We make theatre that people want to watch - theatre that the audience can live inside, that lifts the heart and challenges the mind. Shapeshifter are two time winners of the Peter Brook Empty Space Award for their outstanding contribution to London fringe theatre.
	"A finely conceived production"- Keiron Quirke, Time Out. Our work exists through regular collaborations with other artists, companies and venues. Our work has developed a reputation as bold, visual and physical, concentrating on major fringe revivals of neglected works and recent European writing.
We have a particular interest in promenade and shared space theatre, and the use and integration of live music. Our productions are epic, colourful and daring. Recent productions include Lark Rise to Candleford, Soldiers and King Arthur, as well as major community, education and outreach work.
