Shapeshifter are currently developing our strong commitment to theatre in the community. We believe that each production should forge strong links with new audiences and its community.

With previous project-funded support from Awards for All, The Bridgehouse Trust and The Ernest Cook Foundation, we have been able to offer an extensive programme of workshops, education packs, post-show talks and free tickets to schools and youth theatre groups across London and the South of England.

Working with Response Community Projects we produced the first Earls Court Festival Drama Course – working with performers with no previous theatre experience to bring specially commissioned plays to a festival audience.

Our Outreach programme is centred on informing and encouraging non-traditional theatre audiences, strengthening the diversity and range of our audience base.

This valuable work continues and strengthens with each new production.
